Management TeamThe following individuals are responsible for managing MYC. Jackie Lamons – A multi-systemic therapist, HIPAA and CERT certified holding both BSW and MSW degrees from Saint Leo University and Barry University respectively, Jackie is a valuable asset to MYC. With experience from scheduling field trips, conducting interventions and coaching a children’s basketball team to client assessments, tutoring as well as conduct needs assessments and counsel hurricane Wilma victims, Jackie has the experience required to execute many of the MYC tasks such as program curriculum, training processes, client assessment plans and group activities coordination. Walter Quesada – Having over 10 years of entrepreneurial experience, Walter has helped take business concepts and turn them into solid operating ventures for a vast array of clients, in a multitude of industries. Currently, a partner at Need Marketing Group, Walter oversees all technology related solutions from web site architecture and development to online marketing and advertising systems. With this experience, Walter will help design the entrepreneurial programs required to make MYC a self-sustaining facility as well as help clients realize their career objectives. Monica Roca – A graduate of Carlos Albizu University with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and an Associates Degree in Accounting Technologies, Monica brings to the board the important financial skills required to make MYC a financially stable organization. With over 8 years experience in the financial sector, having served as Assistant Supervisor at Carnival Cruise Lines handling reconcilement of millions of dollars of onboard revenue, in addition to being an Accounting Supervisor at Duty Free World and Qnovations Corporation, Monica will manage MYC’s accounting tasks utilizing her previous experiences and knowledge. Maria Torre – Formerly on the board of directors of Casa Central, volunteering care for the elderly as well as foster children, Maria currently works at Fair Haven Center where she continues to service the elderly and their families in time of need. Now joining the Miami Youth Center board of directors, Maria brings to MYC her vast experience in serving humanity. Also having majored in Psychology as well as English, Maria will bring to the board the skills required to fulfill the needs of the MYC children and their families.
